lovely people, lovely room. I lived in a single room, in which the bathroom is as large as the bedroom. heater works very well.
There is no lamp so that I have to write with a dim wall lamp.

It was a wonderful location, right inside the medieval city, next to the old clock tower and city ramparts. You could walk to everything. there was a small kitchenette in our triple which woul be very useful for someone on a budget or with small children. The hostess, Catharine, was lovely and welcoming.
It is located on a small alley which cuts through to the clock tower. Voices in the alley echo and they were very loud up until about 1AM. A small map on the website showing the easiest way to walk from the large municipal parking lot to the hotel would also be useful. We walked the long way in the dark with our luggage in the pouring rain. the next day we found a simple pedestrian doorway that led right to the parking lot.

The tranquility that brings the creperie after a walk along the Rance, the ascent of Rue Jerzual which connects the port of Dinan in the heart of the medieval city or visit the castle of Dinan. It felt like finding an oasis after a long and adventurous journey.
Chimes from the nearby bell tower.

The room was clean and the bathroom spacious. The hotel was ideally situated in terms of being in easy reach of restaurants and bars. We were looking for property and found most areas easily accessable from Dinan.
The original room allocated, family room on ground floor, we felt was unacceptable. It was smaller than the triple room we were subsequently offered, the kitchen area was not as described, it was impossible to erect the chairs round a table to eat. The room was very dark and cold and the bathroom was too small for 4 people.

Superb town centre location, great ambience, well presented and decorated rooms.
You need to be fit and healthy if staying on the top floor as a lot of stair climbing required,

The accommodation is cozy, with beautiful views and a charming medieval atmosphere. The owner, Katherine, is incredibly friendly and helpful, providing us with valuable local tips and information in English. The breakfast served was delicious, featuring fresh local baked goods, fruits, and preserves. The location in the heart of old Dinan is ideal, as it is close to everything we wanted to explore. We also enjoyed taking a walk to old Lehon and visiting the old castle and abbey there.
My wife says that the rooms are a bit on the small side for a large family like ours.

I had the twin room which was well-appointed and beautifully designed with great bathroom. A refrigerator, central heating, and an iron were good. The location of the hotel was particularly good and stunning - within easy walking distance of Monument Indochine.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel De La Tour De L'Horloge. The hotel's location in the heart of Dinan was perfect for exploring the charming town. The building itself is a lovely old gem, and the facilities were well-maintained. The staff were friendly and attentive, always happy to help with any requests. The restaurant in the hotel served delicious meals, from steaks and chips to crepes and desserts. The dining room was also beautifully decorated, adding to the overall experience. We fell in love with Dinan and will definitely be returning in the future.
Would recommend this hotel.

The hotel is situated in the heart of Dinan, easy walking distance from the local town sights. The staff were exceptionally friendly and made us feel very welcome. All in all a nice small family run hotel. The resturant attached to the hotel serves up good quality food.
No lift which means if you are on the top floor there is a lot of stairs to climb with your cases. No private parking leaving you to park on the town square. Breakfast was uninteresting, continental only and not much choice.

Best central location - you are literally in the city. Fantastic for exploring the old town.
We booked a normal room but were given an "attic room" - beware of the stairs if you get this - four flights of torture! The hotel is very tired and in desperate need of a revamp. There is no parking - closest parking you have to pay every 2 hours ....... Lastly ....... The clock is loud - take a note of the name of the hotel - it's outside the town clock - it rings all the time - only quiet between midnight and 6am.
